Hindi Song | Darling (2007)

Darling is on of the upcoming films of director Ram Gopal Verma, starring Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol and Isha Koppikar for the lead roles. There was so much buzz around RGV' Sholay remake (now knows as RGV Ki Aag) that we didn't even notice he was making Darling. Looking forward to see what he's done in this film.

The music composer of Darling, unfortunately, is Himesh Reshammiya. I don't know anything else about the film, but I definitely believe RGV's choice of music director is kinda rotten. Sorry Himesh fans. Some believe Himesh has a very wide fan-base. If so, the only value he's bringing to the table is in the sales (which is very important for some), but nothing artistic. However that has been compensated for by a very nice Adnan Sami song that I think you shouldn't miss.

Hindi Song | A New Design, Finally!!

I finally managed to finish this design, that I first talked about way back in February. In the past few minutes if you noticed some rapid and messy changes, that's because I was trying to make this template work. I apologize if that caused any sort of problems for any of you folks. The good news is that it's over, and the new design is up!!

I'm so glad that it finally is done. It was at the back of my head and was bothering that there is something I need to finish. It's however a little different from what I originally set out to create. The overall site layout is the same, but I decided to go with a different different scheme.

Beside its fresh look, this new version of DHS has a few new features that could be useful for you. The first one is the addition of a search box (top right corner) which should make it easier to find what you are looking for. The second feature is the 'Random Videos' section (bottom of the sidebar). It's a list of songs/clips from Youtube. Click on any of the video thumbnails and the full size video will appear above the posts.

I've also added the IndianPad.com's voting widget. When you like a post, please vote for it by clicking the '+' sign on the top right corner of each post, or add it to IndianPad.com if it isn't already added. By doing this you'll be sharing DHS's content with other IndianPad.com members.

That's for now. There definitely are some more tweaking and twisting to be done. I you see anything unusual with the design (eg, the sidebars are out of place, or everything is messy), please let me know by leaving a comment. I've personally tested it on IE7 and Firefox v2.0.0.6 and it seemed fine. But if it doesn't seem alright or you have any ideas, feel free to let me know.

PS. Just in case you are new to the site and want to know how DHS looked like before, checkout out 'history' on Wayback Machine. The site was messy in every way.

Hindi Song | Chak De India (2007)

Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over!!! Music of King Khan's latest movie, Chak De India, is here! In this film Shahrukh Khan plays the role of the coach of national hockey team, who takes his team in to World Cup. It is directed by Shmit Amin. Vidya Malvade also plays a major role in film, I think that of a hockey player who dreams of playing for the National Team. Just a guess. Chak De India is one of the major movies of the year under the Yash Raj Movies banner, and it's produced by the Chopras. BTW, this is SRK's first muslim role and accroding to IMDB.com, he grew the beard in order to look more muslim-like.

The music directors of Chak De are Salim and Sulaiman Merchant. I personally like the songs from this film, except the parts sung by SRK himself ;) They have done a good job. I hope you like it too.

Hindi Song | Marigold (2007)

Marigold is a collaborative work of Hollywood and Bollywood. The film is written and directed by Willard Caroll. It's the story of Marigold (Ali Larter), an American actress, about her journey to India and how things effect her life. Salman Khan plays the male protagonist in th film.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy have composed the music. It's a little different from their previous works, perhaps due to involvement of Graeme Revell, the man who has worked on the music of many major Hollywood productions including the Sin City series, Kingdom of Heaven, The Siege and many more. Hindi Song | Cash (2007)

Cash is the latest movie by director Anubhav Sinha and stars Ajay Devgan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Zayed Khan, Arjun Rampal, Esha Deol, Shamita Shetty, Diya Mirza, and Sunil Shetty. As the title suggests, the film is all about cash/money. If you've seen the trailers, you probably know that there some really nice action sequences in this film, as well as some nice car (including my favorite and future car, 350Z).

Music of Cash is composed by Shekhar Ravjiani and Vishal Dadlani (Vishal & Shekhar). They've made some really nice music in the past, and I hope that you all like this one.

Hindi Song | Naqaab (2007)

The music release after Partner is that of Naqaab. Naqaab is a film by Abbas-Mastan and stars Bobby Deol, Akshay Khanna and the model-turned-actress Urvashi Sharma in her debut role. It's a thriller, involving a love triangle, I guess.

Music of Naqaab is composed by Pritam, who has created some great music in the past. Since I am trying to catch up with the latest releases, I haven't had a chance to listen to this album myself. I hope this is good and that you will like it.

Hi everyone, I hope you all have been enjoying the load music Bollywood has providing us. I've had a wonderful time getting that music to you as well as listening to a lot of them myselft. It's been a great one+ plus year of bolly blogging. And now I need your help!

Alongside this blog, I've been working on another project. Brainstorming mostly, building the overall idea of what I want it to be. This one is something bigger than this blog. BUT.... I need help in the technical department. My level of programming doesn't go beyond basic HTML, but the new project requires a lot more than that. That's where I need your help. The project requires a lot of advanced programming knowledge, most likely php and definitely MySQL. So if you can help in any way, I would really appreciate it. I have a budget, but it's not enough to hire 'professionals'. I would be glad to share that budget with you, or if possible, help you in any way I can. Hindi Song | Partner (2007)

Based on the Will Smith starring Hollywood film Hitch, Partner features Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta, and Katrina Kaif in the leading roles. It is directed by David Dhawan. Here Sallu is the 'love guru' which leaves Govinda to be the one who needs a make-over to win one of the leading ladies' heart. It's meant to be a comedy film, and I hope that the makers have loaded it with some nice and smart jokes. We've had a little too much of stupid jokes recently, mostly last year.

The man responsible for the music of Partner is Sajid Wajid. It's a pretty fast-paced and loud album with too much bass. If you have a good sound system, big subs with a good amplifier, you can blow your roof off with these songs. And I think that's all they can do, they're neither lyrically good nor musically exceptional. Just loud and in your face, rather in your ear drums. No award nominations for Wajid this year. Have a listen yourselves, and see what I mean.

A beautiful song by A.R. Rehman from one of Ram Gopal Verma's early films, Daud. I love the music of this film so much, it's almost intoxicating. Really great work from Rehman. This video is funny one, you get to see Sanjay Dutt and Urmila in some interesting outfits. Urmila looks cute in that yellow one. Enjoy!!
